We have always tried to outsmart age – whether the strategy is a search for the fountain of youth or a stockade of anti-aging serums from health-food store shelves – our quest for longer, healthier lives is as old as the human species itself. Anti-aging programs are aimed at affecting the health of the body on a cellular level. The idea is that if we can defer cell death, we are in effect deferring aging in the end. Smokers produce large amounts of free radicals, and age rapidly. Stress increases the free radical load, and so does the ultraviolet radiation of the Sun.
Meditation, challenging work to exercise the brain and eight glasses of water a day help, as well… but what can we do to help prevent aging?
1. Exercise
2. Have a Balanced Diet
3. Stress Free Practices like watching the fish at Kamalaspa
4. Massage
